( 1 ) Travel
Documents ( visa )
Every tour member must be in possession of
valid passport and visa. Myanmar
embassy issues two types of visa for tourists. The F.I.T ( foreign
independent traveller ) Visa and the Package Visa.
Both are valid for a stay of up to 28 days.
( 2 ) Customs
Gems and jewellerys
purchased at the authorized dealers and duty - free shops are allowed to be
taken out of the country. Visitors may bring in duty - free 400 cigarettes,
100 cigars or half a pound of tobacco, 2 litres of
liquor and 1 / 2 litre of perfume or eau de cologne
jewellery , camera , radio , tape recorder , calculator are allowed
only on condition that they are declared in order to be taken out at
departure.
( 3 ) Reservation & Confirmation
All booking should be made directly to Shining
Star Tours. Confirmation of tour arrangements in Myanmar
is subject to issuance of visa.
( 4 ) Accommodation
Accommodation is on twin sharing basic with
supplementary charge for single occupancy. For a third occupant sharing the
same room, a bed will provided at an additional
cost.
( 5 ) Child Discount
One child under 12 years is generally granted a
reduction of 50 % of the tour price, provided that he / she is accompanied by
at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. Please check the
exact details with our Shining Star Tours before proceeding with any
reservations.
( 6 ) Cancellation
For cancellations of confirmed arrangements a
cancellation fee according to the case incurred will be charged. The hotel
has 21(
twenty one ) days notice of cancellation policy for groups and 7(seven) days for individual travellers.
( 7 ) Domestic travel
Shining Star's guests usually travel by
reliable Air Mandalay, Air Bagan and Yangon Airways
those use ATR 72 & ATR 42 Aircraft and by air conditioned car or bus.
( 8 ) Responsibility
Neither Shining Star Tours Express Limited nor
any person assisting with it is responsible for any loss, injury, damage,
accident, delay or irregularities sustained by the clients including those
occurred out side the tour programme. The company
does not accept any responsibility for losses of expenses due to delay or
changes in order service, accident, sickness, weather, strikes and other
causes of unforeseen circumstances.
( 9 ) Deposit & Payment
An
advance deposit of 20 % per person is payable by the time of booking . The balance of the full tour price must then be
received at least 15 days before commencement of services without further
notice from Shining Star Tours . This deposit is
fully refundable if the arrangement is cancelled up to 15 days before the
departure date of the tour.
